School Parliament Elections

On Wednesday 21st September children at Bocking Primary School cast their votes to elect their school MPs. The newly elected school parliament will represent their classes to positively impact on all aspects of school life, from how to improve our environment to ways to further enrich learning.

Children from years 1-6 exchanged their polling card for an official ballot paper and cast their votes using cubicles and a ballot box, kindly leant to us by Braintree District Council.

Year 6 pupils ran the polling station instructing pupils on exactly what to do and ensuring voting was fair. The votes are now being counted and the school eagerly awaits the results next week!
