The School Day
The school day begins at 8.40am when children begin to come into school. The gates are closed at 8.50am.
We request that no pupil is on the school premises before 8.40am. Staff are on duty either in their own classrooms or on the playground from 8.40am onwards. Children in years 1 to 6 make their way from the playground to their classroom. Children in the reception class enter via their own entrance where they are greeted by their teacher.
School finishes at the following times:
Year R, 1 & 2 - 3.10 pm (Total 32.5 hours per week)
Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 - 3.15 pm (Total 32.9 hours per week)
Children in the reception class are handed over from the classroom entrance. Children in Years 1 to 6 are released onto the main playground.
If there are any changes to who is collecting our child or if you may be late to collect your child from school, please let the office know.
